Jest to najwiekszy palac na swiecie.
Właścicielem tego przepięknego pałacu jest sułtan Brunei. Hassanal Bolkhial mieszka tam wraz z ośmioosobową rodziną i obszerną gwardią służących, do której należy aż 600 ludzi. Istana Nurul Iman
jest największym obiektem tego typu na naszej planecie. Budynek został
postawiony w stolicy kraju Bandar Seri Begawan. Prace budowlane
zakończyły się w 1984 roku. Olbrzym liczy sobie pół kilometra szerokości
i trzy czwarte długości.
W pałacu znajduje się 1788 pokoi i 257 łazienek, sala balowa na 4
tysiące gości oraz inne pomieszczenia o łącznej powierzchni 200 000 m?.
W rezydencji znajdują się podziemne garaże mieszczące zaskakującą
liczbę 153 samochodów.
Całość tego wspaniałego przedsięwzięcia opiewa na kwotę 400 milionów dolarów amerykańskich, co było równowartością prawie 1,5 miliarda złotych. Pałac jest dostępny nie tylko dla ludzi z kręgu sułtana.
Przez 3 dni w roku rezydencja cieszy się z dużej liczby
zwiedzających. Jest to końcowy okres romadanu, przypadający w

The owner of this beautiful palace is the Sultan of Brunei. Hassanal Bolkhial lives there with his family and an extensive eight-person guard for, to which up to 600 people. Istana Nurul Iman is the largest facility of its kind on the planet. The building was erected in the capital Bandar Seri Begawan. The construction work was completed in 1984.
