4. Luksemburg

Dzisiaj przyszedł czas na piękną pocztówkę z Luksemburga. 

Przedstawia ona fortyfikacje Luksemburga oraz jej trzy wieże.  

Trzy wieże są nadal znaczącą historyczną atrakcją. Są to resztki starej twierdzy, które oznaczają zewnętrzną granicę starego miasta w Luksemburgu, obejmującą bramy miasta, którego początki sięgają XII-ego wieku.

Przez wiele lat, trzy wieże służyły jako więzienie, a także twierdze obrony. Oczywiście, Luksemburg od tamtej przerósł swoje pierwotne granice, a więc trzy wieże są teraz mniej więcej w centrum współczesnego miasta, znajdują się na końcu ulicy Rue Wiltheim.

Jest to obiekt należący do listy UNESCO.

Today it's time for amazing postcard from Luxembourg.

On it you can see fortress city and Three Towers.

They might be a shadow of their former selves these days, but the Three Towers are still a significant historical attraction. They are the remnants of an old fortress that marked the outer boundary of the old Luxembourg City, encompassing the city gate which dates back to the 12th century.

For many years, the Three Towers were used as a prison as well as a defensive fortress. Of course, Luxembourg City has since outgrown its original boundaries, and so the Three Towers are now more or less in the center of the modern city, located at the end of Rue Wiltheim.
